Absolutely Brillaint - Pirates of the Caribbean - At World’s End

Saw the last Pirates of the Caribbean, and man it was great! Much much better than the second part this one was just bigger and better. The first part of the series for any movie holds special place but this is definitely how it should have ended, with a bang!

After the movie went to the ‘Sports Bar‘ to get a couple of beers and watch the England v Brazil friendly. Yes, the first England match at the new Wembley. This ended disappointing because they had to shut down at 1am due to regulations and stuff, so we had to quickly go back home to catch the second half. The drive is a good 30 minutes one, but we didn’t miss any goals. The Diego goal definitely ruined it for Terry - McClaren.

Pirates of the Caribbean - Just can’t wait!

It’s June 1, and one of the most awaited releases of the year has arrived (in India). The movie was released in May in many countries but here in India it has come to the theaters today. I have already got the tickets and will leave in about an hour to watch it. The reviews i’ve heard from my friends in US are pretty damn good so it makes the wait even worse. I didn’t like ‘The Dead mans chest’ as much as i did the first one, but i really think - ‘At worlds end’ will be the best out of the lot.

Anyways, leaving in about an hour.. will post about my thoughts on the movie as soon as i m back from my dinner+movie plan ;-)

Shootout at Lokhandwala

Just saw the movie yesterday. The story is based on - ‘True Rumors’ as the tagline suggests :-P . Viviek Oberoi was truly awesome in the movie in portraying the character of Maya Dolas. The only thing that sucked in the movie was the timing of the songs. Everytime the movie got gripping up came a song sequence to ruin the charm. Anyways, not being too critical… this was definitely a good movie to watch once. Go watch it!
